New Orleans is a team sport. Be a team player.

One of the most shocking things is realizing you have haters (just read Reddit). There are some in our midst who will throw daggers and try to divide. Some use labels like “transplant” or other terms that divide. I think this has been done for thousands of years by conquerors and other power grabbers… You know the old saying, “divide and conquer”. It’s likely to be very effective as a control strategy.

In any case, I really believe that we have to get past this mentality. And we need to root for each other. So, if you live in New Orleans, I believe you are part of the team. I’m rooting for you as best I can. Your success means the success of our community. So, New Orleans is a team sport. Let’s all be team players.
